A pair of burglary suspects stole a pet rabbit—still in its cage—from a Bronx apartment last month, police say.

The Leporidae larceny occurred on June 27th, at 6:01 p.m.: According to the NYPD, "two unidentified males entered an apartment through an unlocked front door located in the vicinity of Crotona Park East and 174th Street. Once inside, the males removed a rabbit inside a cage, a metal bracelet and a passport."

The police have had no luck tracking down the burglars, and have now released images of the suspects: the first man is described as approximately 5'11" tall with black eyes, and long hair with braids, who was last seen wearing a red shirt, black shorts, white and black sneakers, a black baseball hat and carrying the cage. The second suspect was last seen wearing a light blue T-shirt, blue shorts, white sneakers and a blue baseball hat.
