A new mother is distraught after her breast pumps were stolen from her Manhattan building's mailbox area. Alison Foley, who just gave birth to premature twins, said, "They’re stealing from two preemie babies, which is just like the lowest of the low."

Police say that on Monday, June 8, at about 10:30 a.m., two male suspects entered the lobby of 429 West 46th and "removed two (2) Fed-Ex packages containing Medela breast nursing breast pumps from the mailbox area." The authorities also released surveillance images.

WCBS 2 reports that Foley's son Declan and daughter Deirdre were born two months early and weigh less than 3 pounds each. Dad Patrick Foley said, "Who has the moral fiber to really literally take milk out of the mouths of babes? This is a breast pump that they need to survive."

He added that other packages from the building have been taken too, "Some tenants will post the tracking delivery receipt on the wall and say, ‘Where are these packages? I know it was delivered,'" and the building manager also said that a UPS deliveryman's truck was robbed.
