Get over to the Smith-9th Street subway platform most ricky-tick to say goodbye to the Kentile Floors sign, which is finally being dismantled. The iconic Gowanus sign advertising a long-defunct asbestos-ridden flooring manufacturer is being removed by the building's owner, who has reportedly agreed to save the pieces to be reassembled somewhere else.
