We've been following the story of 8-year-old Aidan Sullivan, who had more than $8,000 of fund-raised money which would have gone toward facial surgery stolen from him earlier this week. Aiden was born with hemifacial microsoma, which left him with an undeveloped face; he's already gone through 10 surgeries, and the latest money would have gone toward a new right ear. In a happy turn of events, the Vincent Crotty Memorial Foundation of Rockland County donated $7,000 to the Sullivan family yesterday after hearing about the young boy's story. "[We] hope this goes a long way to help this little man. I'm sure he's going to do very well," said Peter Crotty of the foundation told ABC.
