[UPDATE BELOW] N and Q trains have been suspended in both directions between Queensboro Plaza and Ditmars Boulevard, due to a person struck by a northbound N train at the Broadway St. station in Queens, the MTA said.

An MTA spokesperson could not confirm the state of the victim, but Twitter, as always, has some horrifically graphic photos of body parts littering the street. WARNING. Update, 5:36 p.m.: The FDNY confirmed that the victim, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead on arrival. The initial call came in at 4:19 p.m., a spokesperson said. Reports on Twitter note that the body parts fell in the vicinity of 31st Street and Broadway.
