Conservative gubernatorial hopeful Carl Paladino entered the Ground Zero mosque debate by declaring, if elected, the millionaire would "use the power of eminent domain to stop this mosque and make the site a war memorial instead of a monument to those who attacked our country." But Mayor Bloomberg has a very dim view of Paladino's chances. When asked about the Buffalo developer's remarks, Bloomberg said, "Huh? He's not going to get elected, so let's go on to the other topic. This city is built on openness and tolerance. We are not walking away from that, no matter who is governor."
