2008_10_bloomb24.jpgMayor Bloomberg feels confident he'll be able to run for a third term. On his weekly radio show, he told John Gambling that he wasn't too worried about the lawsuits and struck his familiar refrain about why the Council passing the bill (vs. having the public vote) was okay, "I think the important thing is that nobody lost choice. There will be more choice, more candidates, at least in the mayor’s race.” The AP reports that Bloomberg probably won't do "campaign events until after the first of the year," because he'll need to mend relationships with opponents. He also said on the radio show, "I think you are going to see all of the City Council people, no matter what they said on this issue, they’ve got to now come together and help us find something that is good for their constituents."
