Slick Willie has some thoughts on Governor Goodhair. At a gathering of the International Association of Fire Fighters this morning in Manhattan, William Jefferson Clinton told the audience, "I got tickled by watching Governor Perry announce for governor, for president. He's a good looking rascal." Uh-oh, Rick. Better rescind that fall internship application at the Clinton Foundation unless you want to be "eating pizza" behind closed doors!
According to PolitickerNY, Clinton then assailed Perry's "small government" bombast:
“And he’s saying ‘Oh, I’m going to Washington to make sure that the federal government stays as far away from you as possible -while I ride on Air Force One and that Marine One helicopter and go to Camp David and travel around the world and have a good time.’ I mean, this is crazy.”
Indeed. If Rick Perry gets elected, he must eschew the White House and govern from his home in Texas, just like the last Lone Star president.
