Just when you thought it was safe to take the train again—and just in time for rush hour!—the MTA goes and shuts down nearly the entire B line. According to the MTA's website since at least 3:48 p.m. an "ongoing temporary loss of power/rail condition at the Sheepshead Bay Station" means that there is currently no B train service from Coney Island-Stillwell Ave. and 145th Street in either direction. We've e-mailed the MTA for more information and will update if we get any. Totally unrelated: don't forget about tomorrow's fare increase.
