At least six people, including a baby, were injured after a car crashed into a Barnes and Noble in midtown Manhattan this afternoon. According to FDNY, the incident happened around 4:50 p.m. at the Barnes and Noble located at 46th Street and 5th Avenue. Witnesses told us that a Chevy Trailblazer jumped the curb and smashed into the bookstore.
The infant, who is around one year old, was seriously injured according to FDNY; two people suffered neck and back injuries, while three others suffered minor injuries. All the victims were taken to Bellevue and Cornel Hospitals.
