At least 32 people were injured this morning after two buses collided while exiting the Lincoln Tunnel.

According to a Port Authority spokesperson, two New Jersey Transit buses crashed just after 10 a.m. Friday in the center tube of the tunnel. After the rear end collision, both buses proceeded out of the tunnel onto the New York side. The FDNY says 25 people were treated for minor injuries, and seven were transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

One of the buses was coming from Wayne, NJ, the other out of Oradell, NJ. According to NBC, one of the buses had 25 passengers on board, while there were 37 people on the other.

The Lincoln Tunnel remained open during the incident, but commuters should expect delays in both directions. The Port Authority is investigating the cause of the crash. We'll update as more information becomes available.
