Another week, another selfie-seeking tourist attempts to scale the Brooklyn Bridge: a 23-year-old Argentinian tourist was arrested last night after he was caught trying to climb the historic bridge.

Police say that an officer spotted tourist Jorge Arredondo climbing the cables on the Manhattan side of the bridge around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday evening. The cop waited for him to come down, and arrested him. It's unclear whether Arredondo got a pic, let alone an epic selfie, out of the climb.

Arredono has been charged with criminal trespass and reckless endangerment.

This is just the latest case in which a tourist has been caught attempting to climb the bridge at the international selfie stick shopping destination spot: most recently, 21-year-old Tennessee resident David Karnauch was arrested after his Brooklyn Bridge selfie went viral and brought shame upon the NYPD. Last year, two other tourists were arrested for similar shenanigans.

Guess those new safety barriers are really working out.
