The brilliant mind responsible for saving the last Pool Party show needs other brilliant minds working for him. And he determines who is worthy by asking job candidates to rank members of Congress on a scale of liberal to conservative. According to him, answers are not a matter of opinion.

Some of the answers are pretty easy. Ted Kennedy gets a 90 for his liberal views, while Jesse Helms is all the way down at 1 for most conservative. Schumer ranks himself at 75 and Hillary Clinton at 80. But Bill Clinton, whom Schumer puts at 65, apparently confuses most staffers. One source said, "Bill Clinton is more conservative than the average Democrat but more liberal than the average American. It's frequently the question that stumps people." However, now that the Post has posted his scale, just about anyone could probably work for Schumer. Where's our application?
