Here's a possible reason why Huma Abedin appears—so far—to be sticking with embarrassing husband Rep. Anthony Weiner: They are expecting a baby. According to City Room, "Ms. Abedin, 35, is in the early stages of pregnancy, according to three people with knowledge of the situation. The pregnancy, which the couple has disclosed to close friends and family, adds a new dimension to questions about the future of their marriage."

Politico says that Abedin is nearing the end of her first trimester. Abedin just left on a trip with her boss, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, to Northern Africa. The interfaith couple—he's Jewish, she's Muslim— was married last July after years of dating. At the wedding, which was officiated by former President Bill Clinton, a Daily News source said, "Clinton jokingly said that marrying a politician can be tough because it's 'easy to distrust them, whatever their religion.'"

During the press conference where he admitted to numerous online relationships with women he met through Facebook and Twitter, Weiner wept as he apologized to Abedin.
