After wrecking his Congressional career, mayoral campaign and marriage with his addiction to sexting, Anthony Weiner is now reportedly in rehab. The Daily Mail says he is at a facility in Florida, which "separates men and women and its program includes counseling for those addicted to cybersex and exhibitionism as well as addictions to anonymous sex and porn."

Weiner's alleged sexting relationship with a 15-year-old girl is being investigated by the federal authorities, who during the course of their investigation discovered emails related to the FBI's probe of Hillary Clinton's private email server on the laptop Weiner shared with his estranged wife, top Clinton aide Huma Abedin. That led FBI Director James Comey to make an unprecedented and vague announcement to Congress, 11 days from the election, that there was a possible new development in the (never officially closed) Clinton server investigation.

Earlier in the day, the Daily Mail published photographs of Abedin with their young son Jordan, remarking, "Weiner has not been seen in almost six weeks, with the disgraced politician going into hiding soon after revealed he was sexting a teen."

The 15-year-old who says she traded sexts with Weiner told Buzzfeed today that she was very unhappy, "The FBI asked for me to speak to the media as little as possible. I have tried to stay quiet, but Comey has upset me. The last thing that I wanted was to have this become political propaganda."

Some psychologists say that sex addiction isn't real and that calling it "sex addiction" ignores bigger issues that are at play.
