A man has been arrested at a Brooklyn homeless shelter and charged with stalking the latest Miss USA winner. Lanre Orimabogunje, 28, has been accused of stalking Miss USA Erin Brady outside her midtown Manhattan apartment. Orimabogunje allegedly scared Brady on August 5th when he approached her inside the building: "I've been tracking you since you were born," he reportedly told her. "I have GPS. You wear an invisible crown."
Orimabogunje then allegedly tried to touch her on the head, and Brady ran upstairs: “She didn’t say a word — she locked the door, then called downstairs to the desk,” Brady’s grandmother, Theresa Brady, told the Post. Police were able to track Orimabogunje down thanks to the fact that he signed his own name on the register at the building. According to Metro, Orimabogunje believes he is the creator of the Miss USA pageant; he also was carrying a photo of Brady in his pocket when he was arrested.
