Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly broke into two Manhattan apartments earlier this week, making off with numerous items—including electronics and prescription drugs.
According to the NYPD, the first burglary occurred at 7:45 a.m. on November 2nd, when the suspect "entered an apartment building on East 81 Street, between East End Avenue and York Avenue, via the rear fire escape. Once inside, the suspect removed electronics, jewelry, clothing and personal documents with a total value of $1,765."
The second incidents was at 9 a.m., also on Monday: "The suspect entered a building adjoining the first location via the rear fire escape. Once inside, the suspect removed two laptop computers and prescription medication with a total value of $2,500. The suspect then fled on foot westbound towards York Avenue."
Police released surveillance video of the suspect, describing him as wearing a black sweatshirt or jacket, camouflage pants, white sneakers and was carrying a green duffle bag and a black backpack.
