Walker, who lived two blocks from the intersection, was pronounced dead at the scene. The NYPD's Collision Investigation Squad is continuing to investigate.
This morning, an MTA bus driver struck a pedestrian in Flushing, at the intersection of Roosevelt Avenue and Prince Street. An NYPD spokesman said that the victim was transported to a local hospital for "multiple trauma," but that the Collision Investigation Squad is not currently investigating the crash, despite the police tape visible in this photo.
