PATH service was suspended when three people were shot at the Pavonia station in Jersey City. Apparently an argument broke out on a train at 5:30 a.m. and then spilled onto the platform, prompting the violence.

According to WABC 7, witnesses say "a man bumped a woman on the train and was confronted by the woman's brother. The man then pulled a gun and shot the woman in the ankle and the brother in the leg. The brother then pulled out his own weapon and fired back."

The victims' injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.

Service, which had been suspended between Journal Square and Hoboken, is mostly back to normal.
