A 27-year-old woman was found dead in her apartment in Astoria last night, and police are looking to question the victim's live-in boyfriend. Victim Danielle Thomas was found dead around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in her third floor apartment at 28-25 33rd street with trauma to the head. Neighbors tell the Post that they often heard the couple fighting: "He used to beat her all the time—I've heard her screaming and crying, and so have many of the other neighbors," said the anonymous resident.

"He would scream at her, and tell her to get out. She would say, 'Where would I go? I have nowhere to go?'" the neighbor added. Sources told NBC there has been a history of incidents between Thomas and her boyfriend—most recently, he was arrested for allegedly assaulting her, and a judge issued an order of protection against him on June 8. Police are trying to track down the boyfriend, and no arrests have been made yet.
