A 23-year-old man fatally fell this morning from a pedestrian bridge on the Upper East SIde in what police are calling an "accidental fall."

Cops say the incident happened just before 6 a.m. at East 70th Street near the FDR Drive. Police believe that the man, whose name has not been released, was walking on a pedestrian bridge when he apparently "slipped off the edge of the rails and hit his head."

He was found on a jogging path by the FDR; he was declared dead at the scene. The Post claims the man had been drinking before the incident.

Cops add that the investigation is ongoing.
