A 21-year-old man was found dead outside of his Brooklyn home early Sunday morning. According to the NYPD, Jaiquan Thorne was found in front of 122 Fennimore Street in Prospect Lefferts Gardens just before 6 a.m. yesterday. At that time he was unconscious, with a stab wound in his chest.
Emergency workers rushed to the scene and brought Thorne to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A police source speculated to the Daily News that Thorne may have been purposefully left outside of his home after being attacked elsewhere.
According to a police spokesperson, there is currently no suspect in Thorne's murder. An investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
Update: The NYPD press office just announced that they've arrested 22-year-old Kevin Hall, who lives in Patchogue on Long Island. He's charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
