A 21-year-old man's body was found between two buildings in Hell's Kitchen yesterday, and now current reports suggest the victim had attempted to jump between buildings when he fell

Police say the body was found around 3 p.m. on Wednesday between 359 and 357 West 45th Street. While cops had no more official updates about the cause of death, DNAInfo reports that the 21-year-old had been drinking at a local bar late Tuesday when he went onto the rooftop of the five-floor building at 359 West 45th Street, and attempted to jump onto the roof of the neighboring building.

The man instead fell down an air shaft located at the back of the buildings. A construction worker who was remodeling an apartment in the building told them, "I open the window and I see him. For a second, I thought he was a toy, he was swollen. But then I saw big flies on his head," said Pedro Sosa. "I was nervous when I realized he was a dead man, first time I see one."

Cops reportedly recovered a Czech Republic passport on him and said he had keys to a nearby apartment.
