The 16-year-old pizza delivery boy who was charged with raping a woman— who lived in the same building as the customer who ordered pizza—reportedly confessed to the horrific crime. According to court papers, prosecutors say that Cesar Lucas said in a confession that he "went in because he was feeling horny and that he took advantage of her."

The incident occurred at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday—apparently Lucas, who works at New York Sal's Pizza on Tenth Avenue in Hell's Kitchen, tried the various doors at the West 61st Street building until he came to the victim's door, which was unlocked. (The 35-year-old victim lives across the hall from relatives and they keep their doors unlocked.) Lucas allegedly entered the apartment and raped the woman, while she was sleeping next to her 7-year-old daughter. The victim was able to scream and push her attacker off her, and Lucas was tracked down thanks to the doorman and customer.

Besides rape, Lucas was charged with sexual abuse, burglary (the victim says he stole her iPhone and $20 from her daughter) and endangering the welfare of a child. Lucas had also been arrested in August for burglary—while on a delivery, he allegedly stole a wallet from a neighbor—prompting the the victim to tell the Post, "I’m really pissed off! I found out that he was arrested before, charged before with robbery. He was delivering pizza, and he robbed another woman." In spite of the arrest, Lucas kept his job, but a co-worker said, "Absolutely, he should have been fired [after the August incident], but we didn’t know anything."

The Post also managed to speak to Lucas's aunt, "He’s a good kid. Only God and him and the woman know what happened. We don’t know," but when the Post reporter informed her of his alleged confession, "Bonilla would say only, 'It’s shocking,' before storming off."

Lucas's next court date is Thursday. He is being held without bail and faces charges as an adult.
