A 15-year-old boy was taken into police custody for questioning on a series of sexual assaults in Queens. According to the Daily News, "Charges are pending against the teen, who was picked out of a police lineup by a victim in at least one of the attacks, the sources said. His name was not released by the sources."
At least five women have been assaulted in Laurelton, Queens Village, and Rosedale since mid-September. Most recently, a woman was attacked when she was walking from a bus stop in Laurelton, raising concerns about the overgrown weeds along the road.
The Post says that the suspect was picked out of "more than one" lineup. Last week, police arrested then released a man suspected of being one of the sexual assault suspects in Brooklyn: A victim picked him out of a lineup but then changed her mind and told cops she didn't want to be contacted anymore.
