Some abandoned luggage from the Dominican Republic contained almost five pounds of cocaine, according to Customs and Borders Protection. The luggage, left at JFK Airport last week, contained four suspiciously heavy sneakers.

NBC News reports that upon further examination, officers found the soles of the sneakers had a "white powdery substance," and then testing showed it was cocaine. The street value of the cocaine is over $107,000. The CBP, naturally, is trying to find the owner of the luggage.

Some other drug smuggling techniques: Heroin in furniture, coke-laced tea bags, cocaine in hangers and heroin in clothes, and cocaine in a Wii exercise pad.
