2005_07_runhit.jpgTonight, thousands of New Yorkers will be running in Central Park for Nike's Run Hit Wonder race, 5 miles around the mini loop. The Donnas are the opening act at the starting line (6PM), Fountains of Wayne, DJ Z-Trip, Nina Sky and Chingy are performing along the course, and there's a post-race concert by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts (8PM). Now, the concert is only open to registrants, but we've heard that in the past, the course is actually pretty friendly to spectators. You'll probably be able to hear the race from outside the park as well. And the Donnas are playing a free concert tomorrow night at Hudson River Park.

Good luck to all the runners, including our own Neil, Kevin and Doug! We look forward to seeing pictures on Flickr. And here's some info on running in the heat.
