Paintball fans have something to cheer about as New York City's first paintball facility opened on Friday. New York City Paintball (warning, the early 90's looking site has music), located in Long Island City near the temporary MoMA QNS, means you can get all your welts closer to home! No more traveling to Long Island, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania.
With two fields and 27,000 square feet, there's plenty of room to shoot and get shot at by all your friends, not just shooting the freak. Playing for three hours runs $39 and there seem to be lots of deals targeted towards the younger set. Unlike places farther away, it doesn't seem like they have camouflage at NYC Paintball.
