In the men's 400 meter sprint, the US Men finished 1, 2, 3 in the finals, taking home all the medals in the race for the first time since 1988. Jeremy Wariner, Otis Harris and Derrick Brew finished with times of 44.00, 44.16, and 44.42 seconds respectfully.

The 20 year old Wariner has the same coach at Baylor University that former Olympian Michael Johnson had, Clyde Hart. At such a young age, it's hard not to imagine that great things are in the future for Wariner.

For his part, Wariner at least has an eye on the future, "I just won the Olympic medal; I can't be disappointed with my time. Breaking 44 will come one day." His time of 44 seconds was his personal best. Michael Johnson's time of 43.18 is still intact, for now.
