atlantafour.gifLocal teams may have been shut out of the NCAA tournament's Final Four, but New York is not without representation in Atlanta. Florida phenom Joakim Noah calls NYC home, as does Georgetown's Jesse Sapp. Neither played high school basketball in New York: Noah played for The Lawrenceville School in New Jersey and Sapp attended National Christian Academy in Maryland. Ohio State and UCLA are sadly New York City-free teams.

Is your team still in the running and are its fans congregating at a specific sports bar to watch the games? Let us know and we'll send more supporters––or perhaps antagonists––your way. The first tip-off isn't until 6:07 this evening, so there's still time to make your plans.

Thanks to the sharp-eyed commentor below who pointed out that Florida's Joakim Noah did play some NYC ball: at the UN International School and Brooklyn Poly Prep.
