- Yankees 11, Tigers 6: The Yankees exploded for 5 runs in the 11th inning against the Tigers in Detroit last night. Jason Giambi got it started with a solo home run before the rest of the team got in on the action. Mariano Rivera was stellar in relief, picking up the win after pitching three innings of 1-hit ball.

- Diamondbacks 7, Mets 2: As he did in his first game, Alay Soler struggled again last night in the loss to the Diamondbacks. Lastings Milledge was 1-4 for the Mets in the loss. Millege's first hit in the Majors came on a double in the 7th inning. Miguel Batista threw a complete game for Arizona.

- Will he, or won't he? Who knows what The Rocket will do? Peter Gammons said on ESPN's Baseball Tonight that Roger Clemens will be an Astro this season. He suspects that this will happen in the next 24-48 hours.

- Fever 91, Liberty 70: The Liberty were blown out by the Indiana Fever, who have not lost a game yet in the young WNBA season. At least the Liberty outscored the Fever in the 3rd quarter.
