The Yankees spoiled the Tampa debut of Jae Seo, who 2-hit the Yankees over 7 innings.

D-Train was all Florida would need in their win as hit his first career grand slam and pitched 7 1/3 innings to win the game. Jose Lima was awful in his 2nd stint with the Mets this season, pitching only 3 innings, allowing 7 runs, 2 of which were unearned.
