2006_04_smetslogo.jpg - Mets 7, Pirates 6: The Mets managed a come from behind victory against the Pirates, scoring 3 runs in the 8th inning. Billy Wagner, who has struggled at times this season, picked up his 16th save of the season and his 300th career save despite allowing a two-out hit in the 9th inning. Cliff Floyd, who only recently returned to the lineup after a stint on the DL, left the game with a concussion in the 5th after a collision with Jose Reyes.

- Indians 19, Yankees 1: Don't you love it when a baseball score looks more like a football score? The Yankees scored early against the Cleveland but only scored one run in Tuesday's blowout. Shawn Chacon was knocked around for seven runs, all earned, in only 1 and 1/3 innings of play. The Yankee bullpen hardly faired any better, surrendering and additional 12 runs in the loss. It was the most one-sided loss for the team since Aug. 31, 2004 when they lost 22-0 at Yankee Stadium. That loss also came at the hands of the Indians.
