- Nets 92, Bobcats 85: After letting a 23-point lead slip to seven, the Nets held off the Bobcats on the road. The Mikki Moore Watch continues -- he had eight points on 4-of-8 shooting -- but when the Nets win, it's because of the Vince Carter Show. He had 26 to lead everybody. The team is on a surge, if you can call it that, and it sits at 18-20. As Sports Illustrated pointed out this week, who's to say the Nets can't make some noise in a weakened Eastern Conference?
- Wizards 99, Knicks 98: What good is shutting down Gilbert Arenas if the rest of the team torches you? Arenas is the hottest player in the league right now, but the Knicks should keep the self-congratulations to a minimum. Arenas only scored 16, but Antawn Jamison (21) and Caron Butler (26) more than picked up the slack. The Knicks and the Nets face off at the Garden on Friday.
