- Hornets 111, Nets 107: It may not be the last game Vince Carter plays for the Nets, but if it is, Carter got his money's worth. Too bad New Jersey didn't. Carter scored 46 points in a loss at home as trade rumors swirl ahead of Thursday's deadline. Jason Kidd, the other prime candidate to be moved, had only 6 points on 2-of-14 shooting. It's at least even money both stay put, but the Nets will need to turn things around to make their presence worthwhile.
- 76ers 104, Knicks 84: Pay no attention to Kyle Korver, and he'll burn you. The 76ers guard's primary skill is 3-point shooting, but the Knicks still let him go 6-of-7 from downtown, 11-of-14 overall and score 31 points. New York's now 3-10 on the second games of back-to-backs and 10-18 on the road. Eddy Curry scored 22 in the loss, the Knicks' second in three games.
