• Knicks 94 Orlando 86: Eddy Curry may not be an All-Star, but he is the best player on the Knicks. Saturday Curry scored 27 as New York got a victory in Orlando. Curry was the highlight, but Isiah Thomas’ decision to play only eight players factored into the win as well. Surprisingly, Jerome James got the start, but Channing Fyre and David Lee had great games off of the bench. Coincidentally, Jared Jeffries never made it off the bench. Perhaps Isiah has finally seen the light.
  • Tampa 3 Rangers 2: Henrik Lundqvist did all he could, but New York couldn’t stop the Lightning from shooting when they wanted to. Tampa had 41 shots and Vincent Lecavalier scored the game-winner off of the power play.
  • Islanders 4 Montreal 2: Trent Hunter and Miroslav Satan scored two goals each as New York came back from a 2-1 deficit to win the game.
  • Devils 3 Buffalo 2: Down 1-0 in the third, New Jersey stormed back with goals from Madden, Langenbrunner and Parise.
