2006_05_arts_kexp.jpgOne of our favorite stations to listen to all day is KEXP, run out of Seattle, and through the magic of online streaming - heard worldwide. This week they're in New York broadcasting (as they are twice a year), putting on some shows and having many in-studio guests. They're in Philip Glass' old studio which is now Gigantic Music, where their musical guests include:

The Mugs, Bill Janovitz, Favourite Sons, Ghostland Observatory, Goldfrapp, French Kicks, Ambulance Ltd, We Are Scientists, Dylan in the Movies, Land of Talk, Dr. Dog, Elvis Perkins and MORE.

Most spots are filled now, but you can sign up to see some of these in studios live, right here. If you are stuck in your cubicle, you can listen online. In addition, they'll be bringing the noise outside of the studios and into the Delancey tomorrow night. The show will feature: Ghostland Observatory with Favourite Sons and the Mugs (but sadly, not Norah Jones). Buy tickets here.
