Jets fans probably weren't expecting much out of Brooks Bollinger in his first career start against Baltimore yesterday and that's exactly what they got. On top of Bollinger's inexperience at quarterback, the Jets had a conservative game plan that led to anemic offensive stats in their 13-3 loss. The only thing that kept them in the game was Baltimore's craptacular offense and the Jets defense.

On the afternoon, the Jets had 8 first downs, 152 yards on offense and only 28 yards rushing. Bollinger was 14-28 in passing attempts, gaining 149 yards, a beautiful 65.9 pass rating, and was sacked 5 times. With an offense like the one they had against the Ravens, it might be time to move Vinny Testaverde into the starting role.

It's not going to get any easier when Tampa Bay rolls into town Sunday. The Bucs have the league's best defense allowing 218.3 yards per game. It looks like that number might go down when they play the Jets.
