Gothamist LLC, the leading network of local blogs, is looking for a full-time Junior Account Executive to develop and expand its client base of advertisers. 1-2 years experience in advertising sales is a plus, but if you're an outgoing person that is comfortable talking to people on the phone and are able to learn quickly in an entrepreneurial environment, read on:
The Junior Sales Account Executive will be responsible for selling ads across our network of sites as well as helping the Gothamist sales team implement existing campaigns.
Salary: Competitive base salary, benefits, and commission based on percentage of sales.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience in the advertising industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to develop new leads and nurture existing relationships
