The Giants Defensive End Osi Umenyiora suffered serious ligament damage in his left knee last night's preseason loss to the Jets and will have to miss the entire 2008 season. An MRI this morning revealed that he has a torn MCL and needs surgery that will require 3-4 months of recovery time. Umenyiora was the only Giant voted into the Pro Bowl during last year's championship season.
