2006_10_sgiantsfalcons.gifThe Giants showed again yesterday that they are capable of a big comeback. Down 14-3, after surrendering a 90-yard run to Warrick Dunn, the defense tightened and the offense went to work and New York emerged with a 27-14 victory.

As usual, the key to the comeback was Tiki Barber. Barber, who only gets better with age, had 185 yards on the ground and another 42 receiving. Eli Manning recovered from two first quarter interceptions to finish 17/30 with two touchdown passes to Jeremy Shockey.

The defense battered Michael Vick, sacking him seven times. Osi Umenyiora did a great job of keeping the heat on Vick. Antonio Pierce almost started a brawl when he inexplicably decided to take a cheap shot at Vick with the game all but over.

The win brings the Giants to 3-2 heading into a crucial matchup with the Cowboys in Dallas next Monday night.
