2005_09_sgiantslogo.jpgThe Giants (2-1) look to rebound from last week’s beating when they play the Rams this Sunday at 1pm on FOX. The Rams while no longer “The Greatest Show on Turf” still posses a potent offense that will challenge a Giants defense that gave up 45 points and 485 yards to the Chargers last week. To make matters worse, cornerback, Will Peterson, has been ruled out for this game and may miss the rest of the season.

On the offensive side of the ball, the Giants will look to build on Eli Manning’s finest games as a professional. The Rams defense has given up 67 points in three games against Arizona, San Francisco and Tennessee, three of the weaker teams in the league, so the Giants should be able to score. Tiki Barber will probably be used early and often as New York looks to establish the running game.

The conditions should be perfect for an offensive explosion by both teams, so expect a lot of points. Gothamist predicts the Giants win the shootout 38-31.
