2005_09_sgiantslogo.jpgThe Giants picked the wrong time of year to get hit with the injury bug. Kansas City (8-4) comes into Giants Stadium tomorrow (5pm CBS) with their playoff hopes on the line. A KC loss essentially eliminates them from contention in the very tough AFC playoff race.

For the Giants, injures will be a huge part of the story. We already know that Antonio Pierce will not play, leaving New York without their best tackler. The big question is will Kareem McKenzie or Luke Pettigout, the starting offensive tackles make it onto the field? Neither one has practiced this week and both are listed as questionable which means a 50-50 chance.

So, the Giants will have to overcome injuries and a tough opponent if they want to continue their winning ways. The Giants should be able to move the ball against a suspect Kansas City defense and Gothamist thinks they eek out a win 31-28.
