2006_01_sduhon.jpgBen Gordon beat the Knicks again last night. Gordon hit a jumper over Trevor Ariza as time expired in overtime to give the Bulls a 106-104 victory. Stephon Marbury did not play for the Knicks ending his consecutive game streak and the date of his return to the lineup is unknown.

The overtime period was marred by two bizarre incidents. The first was a fight between Maurice Taylor and Chris Duhon, which resulted in both players being ejected. The second was Antonio Davis climbing over the scorer’s table during a timeout and going into the stands.

While the details are still unclear, it appears Davis went into the stands after seeing his wife in an altercation with an intoxicated fan. Davis did not physically engage anyone and left the stands as soon as security arrived at the scene. The question is what happens to him now? Clearly, he was defending his wife and who can blame him, but the NBA has a strict policy prohibiting players from entering the stands. Will they give him a lengthy suspension? And if they do, what are they going to do to control drinking and ugly fan behavior at NBA games?
