  • LAist was among the many who waited eagerly to for Judge Vaughan Walker to issue his ruling that Prop 8--the ban on same sex marriage--is unconstitutional.
  • SFist also covered the overturning of California's same-sex marriage ban.
  • Shanghaiist debated whether or not Dior's campaign, "Shanghai Dreamers," was racist after certain people accused them of pandering to oriental stereotypes.
  • Seattlest looked to both sea and sky, "missing the northern lights", but seeing the "Blue Angels" and some sweet "hydroplane races" instead.
  • Torontoist watched—and was at least a little ambivalent about—a massive, free concert by Metric smack in the middle of downtown on a weekday afternoon.

  • Londonist discovered some brilliant hand-made models of Tube stations, encountered a talking bike and uncovered London's most depressing street names.
