2005_09_ask_cupcakes.jpgAsk Gothamist is excited because this week is the second annual Cupcakes for a Cause™ - which means we have an excuse to eat lots of cupcakes, and we advise you to do the same!

During the week of September 26 through October 2, visit any participating bakery in NYC - including Billy's Bakery, Sugar Sweet Sunshine, Buttercup Bakeshop, SoHo Cupcake Company, Little Pie, Company, Crumb's, Two Little Red Hens, William Greenberg Bakery, Amy's Bread, and more - and mention that you want to support Cupcakes for a Cause™. Each bakery will donate part of their proceeds to the CancerCare for Kids™ program, which provides free professional support services to children and families affected by cancer. If you buy 24 or more Cupcakes for a Cause™ this week you will be entered into a raffle to win prizes.

So satisfy your sweet tooth and help out a great cause at the same time, head to one of the participating bakeries and ask for Cupcakes for a Cause™ this week.
