Champagne Tasting

Description: Well, they say life is too short to drink bad wine, so we had to include this event. Those lucky to attend will indulge in some of the great Burgundies from 1988 such as Clos de Beze Bouchard PF Gevrey-Chambertin R. Le Clerc, Vieilles Vignes H. Lignier Richebourg Domaine de la Romanee Conti Ruchottes-Chambertin F. Esmonin Chambertin and Chambertin A. Rousseau Chambertin.

Description: This event (wine class) is for those who love Burgundies but the Christie’s event is a little out of their price range. Enjoy some great Burgundies ranging from the lighter wines from the Maconnais to the full-bodied earthy wines of Nuits St Georges and the elegance of Chambolle-Musigny.

Harvest Fest II- Long Island Wine Country- Celebrate The Grape!
Date: Saturday, October 1st
Time: Depart NYC at 8:45am
Cost: $115, Includes round trip transportation in a luxury motor coach and admission to event.
Place: Laurel Lake Vineyards, Long Island
Description: Celebrate the harvest like you mean it, with a full day of drinking at this Long Island Vineyard. The festival will have events going on all day including the opportunity to custom blend your own bottle of wine, barrel rolling contests and a vineyard lunch. Gothamist is so entering the barrel rolling contest – nothing like trying to control a 50 pound barrel after a bottle or two of wine. We love Long Island.
