The Daily News looks at wine bars around the city, because "cosmos and martinis are such a '90s thing" (at least according to Zagat's Curt Gathje - sorry Jake!). Wine bars are also more conducive to socializing and get your wine conoisseur on. Enoteca author Joyce Goldstein suggests that NY wine bars that offer snacks and light fare are just an extension of the Italian enoteca (which means "to take care of wine"). So naturally Gothamist must mentioned Otto Enoteca.
