Girl Scout Cookie fans have an opportunity to score a few boxes today—and only today—if you know where to look. The New York City Girl Scouts are unrolling their bi-annual Corporate Cookie Connection, which sees the gals in green selling their goodies inside lobbies and cafeterias of businesses in Manhattan. Once again, this year, that day is today, coinciding with Election Day.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.—11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in select locations—troops will be set up in lobbies and cafeterias in Manhattan, selling boxes of Thin Mints, Samoas, Savannah Smiles and a bunch of flavors you've never heard of. Boxes will be available at $4 each while supplies last, with 65 cents from each box sold going directly towards the seller's troop.
Regular cookie season begins in December but the organization won't be doing troop table sales until March, making this likely the last stop for Do-si-dos until next year.
