It was ridiculously nice out yesterday, and today has been even sweeter thus far, with temperatures in the mid-to-upper 60s. We've already begged to have class blog outdoors—but alas, we'll just have to wait till the end of the day to take advantage of this spring surprise. Thankfully, there are plenty of bars that will be serving drinks outdoors this evening—and below, we've compiled a list of some we especially like.

  • In Brooklyn, Williamsburg hipster hangout Union Pool will be jumping, as will the massive outdoor area at Crown Vic. Park Slope pub venue Rock Shop will open its deck. You can also choose between the margaritas at waterfront Mexican restaurant Alma (which opens at 5:30 p.m.), or the punch at Williamsburg mainstay The Drink (open till 11 p.m.—they have $1 off regular drinks during Happy Hour). Bedford Avenue pub Lucky Dog and Williamsburg gem Traif are also open tonight.
  • In Manhattan, you can get German food and drinks at Lower East Side's Loreley; Belgian draughts at East Village's DBA; or mojitos at Midtown Manhattan's Disiac Lounge. Gas-station-turned-fashionable-eatery B Bar & Grill will have Happy Hour from 5-8 p.m., with $2 off beer, wine and wells.
  • And Astoria favorite Bohemian Hall will be serving traditional Czech beer (and others) by the half liter or pitcher; they'll have plenty of room at their picnic table-lined garden.
